1、结构刚度与质量问题钢结构一大优势是高强轻质,这在常规建筑上是优点。

但是在某些结构上,这可能会成为缺点。钢的密度比混凝土大,但为什么说钢材是轻质呢,是因为钢材的强度高,承受相同荷载情况下,钢材需要量少,总体来说质量会比混凝土轻。这是钢结构的一大优点。同时由于钢结构用量少,会导致刚度不足的问题。同时在动力问题中,质量小,也未必就是一个好事情。高层超高层抗风抗震是个大问题,这里说的抗风抗震不是强度问题,而是刚度问题。也就说,大风地震情况下,不怕楼会倒,而是怕晃动太大,确切地说是怕晃动的加速度太大。

想象一下,一个一直在晃动的大楼,你敢去住不?一个没有正常使用功能的建筑,无疑就是个定时炸弹。这时候强度优势很难发挥出来,刚度问题虽然可以通过结构手段处理,但是质量太轻,可能会是个致命问题。在大跨度桥梁中,尤其是悬索桥,由于钢结构质量太轻,我们甚至要往钢箱里面添加配重,改善其动力特性。对应的房屋结构中要采用钢结构与混凝土核心筒配合,来解决刚度问题。

帝国大厦,双塔,西尔斯大厦确实是钢结构的超高层,但他们都是奔着世界纪录去的,他们解决的关键问题都是钢结构高层抗风,还有他们太贵了,如果用来做住宅。

另外,动力问题要注意的是,动力问题很复杂,刚度低未必合适,刚度高也未必好,只有合适的范围才是合理的。
